Afford-A-Home, inc.  is a 501(c)(3) Charitable Organization that offers quality housing for individuals and families with 60-100% of the median income. Our mission is to create home ownership opportunities at prices families can afford. We offer design/build and construction management services with extensive experience in all phases of new home construction and remodeling.

Afford-A-Home uses an advanced building system – SIPs (structural insulated panels) to provide superior housing products.  Energy efficiency services are also offered through the non-profit. Afford-A-Home is known not only for economy but also superior craftsmanship and attention to detail.

AAH can also train volunteer workers, and homeowners in construction skills with the SIPs system. Potential for On-The-Job training is available to qualify for construction employment is also available. Afford-A-Home’s decision to construct with SIP’s for the building shell, and other energy efficient and cost saving building materials, allowing the homeowner to enjoy drastically reduced heating and cooling bills. The AFFORD-A-HOME construction process out performs conventional methods with superior structural strength and exceptional insulation value.

SIP structures qualify for Energy Efficient Mortgages (EEM’s) and have a higher appraisal value, making this approach, overall truly affordable and Energy Star successes.
